My name is Glenn McGee and I live in Ottawa, Canada. After listening to the monumental 55+ episode podcast on Napoleon hosted by Cameron Reilly and J. David Markham, I developed a keen interest in Napoleon and this era.
This is a site dedicated to promoting the ongoing discussion about arguably the most interesting person in all of history. The site also contains a blog for discussion purposes, a comprehensive historical time line and a library of the books and items I have collected to date. I am a fledgling beginner as a Napoleon enthusiast and this site is not meant to compete with other well versed sites (which are listed on the Links page).
Note – the information contained on the website is not a strict copy and paste from various sources (although there are a few instances of this where Wikipedia does have the best summary for a particular event). It is primarily a compilation of information from various sources but also includes my own thoughts and notations regarding the events.
